We hope your summer has started off great! To help you and your students make the most of summer break, we’ve put together some resources.
Summer Checklist
The summer checklist, attached to this email, is designed to spread out tasks and help you maximize your break without missing important dates or rushing to get everything done in August.
Uniform Checklist
The uniform checklists are an easy guide to make sure you have everything needed before the fall. View the Grammar School (grades K-6) checklist here and the Upper School (grades 7-10) checklist here.
You will also receive emails throughout the summer, including more information about new student boot camps, back-to-school events (Archer Days), co-curricular opportunities next year, and more.

Summer Office Hours
During the summer, our office hours vary to allow faculty and staff time to rest:
- June 13 – June 30: Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- July 1-30: Closed
- August 1-26: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During the times listed above, our main phone line (970-545-6650) will be monitored, and visitors may stop by the front office. Please send all email inquiries to noco.frontoffice@ascentclassical.org, and we will direct your question to the appropriate staff member.

Summer Reading
Summer is just getting started and this is a great time to encourage your students to keep reading during the break. We do not require summer reading for students entering grades K-6, but we’ve compiled a list of high-quality options to prepare our Archers for next year. We recommend that parents pre-read texts to determine what they feel is appropriate for their child’s development – and what they will enjoy!
Required Summer Reading Assignments (students entering grades 7-10)
The school provides reading materials for required assignments. If you have not already received your supplies, please stop by the front office during our summer office hours.

Host a Grade-Level Gathering
We are looking for families interested in hosting grade-level gatherings in July or August. If you are a new or returning family interested in hosting, please complete this sign-up form and email Mrs. Greely with details.
