Returning Families Carline Packet Pickup

Monday, August 21- Wednesday, August 23

Monday: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Tuesday: 8-9 a.m. & 3-4 p.m.

Wednesday: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Please note: You can pick up your packet and practice the carline without leaving your vehicle. If you have last year's carline placard please bring that or a driver’s license for easy check-in.

New Parent Orientation

Tuesday, August 22

ACA Northern Colorado Gymnasium

Grammar School (grades K-6)

5:30-6:15 p.m.

Grammar and/or Upper School (grades K-12)

6:30-7:30 p.m.

Community Back to School Night

Wednesday August 23, 5-7 p.m.

Meet the Teacher in the Courtyard from 5-6 p.m.

Food trucks will be available and we encourage families to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, etc. and get to know other families.

Please note: This is also a great opportunity to take your student's back to school photo using photo backdrops provided.

Kindergarten Orientation

Thursday, August 24

Morning Kindergarten: 5:30-6:15 p.m.

Afternoon Kindergarten: 6:30-7:15 p.m.

Please note: We encourage you to have your student wear their uniform so you can take a "first day of school" photo.

School Drop off and Pick up Hours

7:20 a.m. Morning Carline Drop-off begins

7:40 a.m. Start time for Grades 7-11

7:45 a.m. Start time for Grades K-6

2:30 p.m. Carline scanning begins

3:00 p.m. End time for Grades K-11

3:30 p.m. Carline Ends

If you are running late, please call the front office at 970-545-6650 to notify us.

Please note: drop off is carline only, please do not walk your student into campus. First day of school photos should be done at Back to School Night.

School Uniforms

Uniform Guides

The purpose of Ascent Classical's uniform policy is to help eliminate distractions, level the playing field, and remind ourselves that we are doing important work. Please review our updated uniform policies:

Neckwear

Plaid neckwear for your students may be purchased using the links, below.

Families, please note: neckwear options are available at cost, and without shipping fees, through Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Colorado's Revtrak portal. If purchased through the links, below, we will have it ready for you in your back-to-school packet.

Please remember that ladies in grades 7-11 will now need a plaid tie (not ascot) for formal day.

Health Office

Immunization / Exemption Forms and Student Medications

All students are required to submit completed immunization forms or an approved exemption form prior to the first day of school. Student medications and the proper forms must be brought to the school prior the first day of school.

Please review this email for more information.

If you or your student has any health concerns the health office needs to be aware of, please reach out to our Health Technician, Mrs. Luquette, directly to discuss further.

New families, if your student currently has a plan in place and you have not scheduled a meeting with Mrs. Candelaria, please connect with her directly.

Carpooling

Interested in carpooling with other Ascent families? Sign up for Schoolpool today!

Carpool Placards

If you have made arrangements to carpool, please contact Mrs. Burley so our front office staff can create a carpool placard for your family.

Student Fees Reminder

If you have already paid your student fees, thank you! If you have yet to pay your student fees, this is a reminder to pay your student fees using Revtrak portal.

2023-2024 Student Fees*

Grades K-6: $120

Grades 7-12: $150

Family Cap: $400

*Note: Student fees are non-refundable and do not include the cost of extra-curricular activities, clubs, athletics, or yearbook.

Ascent Classical Academy provides a classical education to all students regardless of income. We are therefore happy to waive student fees for indigent students, including students who are free-and-reduced-lunch eligible, homeless, or foster students. Should fees create a financial hardship, please contact Mrs. Greely to discuss other arrangements.

Our campus is closed July 1-30, and will reopen August 1-26, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
